As a follow up of the International Symposium on Landscape and Sustainability, and in particular the panel discussions Ecosystem Good and Services, and on Future Directons, the CBD Secretariat has prepared an information sheet on the ecosystem approach, in English, French and Spanish.

The objective of the attached information sheet is to give a brief introduction to the ecosystem approach as well as to provide guidance on where to find more information on available guidelines for implementation, tools and case studies as well as information on how the ecosystem approach is related to sustainable forest management (download here).
